Telugu is the language of the heart touching expressions of the inner soul. It is the language, which emerged from the roots of the hearts of the common people and withstanding from the era of the Sanskrit rule.

Telugu language is not withering by the cyclonic English language speed as felt by some groups. It has its own strength and honey like sweetness in its sounds and rhythm. The Telugu language, which continue as language of the future and sustains all types of weathers.

Telugu language has its pronouncing beauty; its sounds renounce the flow of the music. Few people by knowingly or unknowingly spreading the unnecessary fears that the language has lost its base in the humankind and shortly it will disappear from the tongue of the human beings, forever.
The telangana government has committed to highlight the beauty and melody of the telugu language throughout the world with new spirit. The newly born telangana state has dared to hold first world Telugu conference from 15-19 December to prove its commitment and devotion to the language. Really it is a dare step to hold this meeting in Hyderabad, where the state is still facing teething problems to stabilise its natural and regular desires of the people, who await to ripe the fruits of the decades dreams of their own statehood.
Telangana is the birth place of the Telugu language long back to thousand and more years. There are many historical, anthropological evidences to prove that this language has its birth roots in telangana region. Telugu language emerged from the lips of the local people’s house hold colloquial language in the era of Shatavahana dynasty.
The most popular poetic writings, folklores are found in the telugu language are found first in Karimnagar dist of this state. In poems `kanda` poem writings of telugu is engraved on the Bommal gutta hill, in Kurikyala village of Karimnagar. It is the base to get the status of Prachina Bhasha (oriental language)of the nation along some other Indian languages.
The telangana statehood movement has many basic slogans and demands; among them is our language and our heritage. There were and are many laureates in telugu language from telangana state from the centuries, who decorated the language with smiles and smells of the classic literature. But, they are not recognised or exclaimed for their writings. It hurts the soul of the telangana people and raised their voice against the suppression of the other region telugu writers in early twentieth century and started literary clubs like Srikrishna Devarayaandra Bhaasha Nilayam in Hyderabad and Rajaraja Narendera Bhashaa Nilayam in Warangal.
Now, the present government has extending its whole hearted support to show the glory and strength of the Telugu language and writers of the soil to the world. We must praise our Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chanadrashekar Rao, who pulled out his litterateur by pushing aside his natural statesman, to spread the message that, the value of the mother language. Telangana people never hurt others but they slam their opposites with their courtesies writings to answer their questions and prove their ability in literature creation.
From the age of great poet Pampana, Haludu of Shatavahana dyanasty fame and Bammera Pothana  to yesterday`s Bhagyareddy, varma,Suravaram Pratap Reddy, Vattikota alvarswamy, Dasharathi brothers, Kaloji, Gnanapeet awardees’ great legend in the telugu  literature Dr.C.Narayana Reddy, Alishetty Prabhakar, Alishetty Prabhakar and today`s many legendary poets, writers withstood for any test of quality and beauty of writings of their age, respectively.
Telangana telugu language is not complete by its classic writings unless we recollect its folklores of its own style, like Chindu Katha, Oggu Kathas styles apart from regular folk songs and stories of the land. Chindu style performer Yellamma, Oggu style performer Vemulavada Ramulu, Sattaiah are got world fame in their own style and performance.
These performance arts have their own music and writings.
It is the challenging job to present day telangana writers and poets to establish their strength and courtesies of the management in the forthcoming “World Telugu Conference”. But, by virtue of the their nature, our writers and poets are  prepared to welcome all the worldwide telugu litterateurs and show the combined will power of this state, along the love and spirit of the government and its inspiring people.
The resonating dais of World Telugu Conference will take the pride of the telangana state`s commitment and determination to uphold the quality and beauty of telugu language forever. The government has already taken a decision to implement telugu as a compulsory language subject up to degree level of education.
Every literature lover of the state, consciously and with whole heartedly, participates in this conference, as they themselves celebrating this festival in their homes. It is the right time to present the boldness and deep sense of love towards our mother tongue.
