Alishetty Prabhakr may be the only one who born and died on the same day .He born on 1-1-1954 and died on 1-1-1994

Today under the banner of kalasree Arts,Jagtial friends and other literati organised Alishetty Prabhakar Samsmarana sabha today morning at penssioners` bhavan attended by many his contemporary poets friends and today`s local big wigs.Delivering a key note address on Alishetty Prabhakar`s poetry,JAC convener and senior journalist ch.v.prabhakar rao appreciated prabhakr`s poetry and said that,

The yesterday`s local Laurent, his burning desire to change the society and give a bright future to the downtrodden and hesitation on today`s Hippocratic society out spoken nature, free hand quill in shaping his ideas and words into heart breaking pictures are making him alive even after 19 years of his departure from this physical being.He is the only one of his nature,and only one poet cum painter and photographer, that is Alishetty Prabhakar .What he wrote is nothing but is a replica of this society.He wrote on almost all aspects of today`s ills of the society.He has a very clear bent towards women and daliths. We are bringing out his all poems combined edition with in short period.In this long pending project Mr.jayadheer Thirumala Rao,Nizam Venkatesham and other friends are sharing the responsibility of collection and printing of the book.

Eminent social philosopher and writer Mr.B.S.Ramulu described the life and writings of Prabhakar and how he was strive to keep himself updated and

voice for the needy.Mr.Prabhakar inspired by the Jagtial JaitraYatra of 1978 9th. sep, and he stick up to his ideology and commitment.He is the only one to write and draw the relevant pictures to the words he penned. Though borne in a above middle class family,he could n`t make money in his photography profession nor in the writings. He sold his three houses in Karimnagar and Jagtial but he could not keep the money for him.What ever he earned in profession and from parental property he spent for his ideology.

Kalasree Arts Theaters honored six poets with Alishetty Praabhakar Smaraka Award on this day. They are
